The Preservice Prayer Visions - 2006 11 29 A group of about eight of us went into small room to pray, intercede and seek God for the Awakening service soon to begin. As we went to prayer I looked into the spirit realm to gauge the spiritual atmosphere surrounding the evening. As the eyes of my heart took focus I saw an awesome sight. There surrounding us was a bowl stadium filled with thousands upon thousands of the choirs of heaven. We were on the playing field as they filled the bleachers around us to awesome heights. They were arrayed tightly with their brilliantly shining white garments singing praises to God. And there, right above us was an open heaven like I have rarely seen before. Paradise was pressing in upon us. The throne of God itself took center spot with awesome brightness and flashes like lightning shooting the glory of God to the earth. It was breathtaking to say the least. I shared this vision with those of us in the prayer room. Shortly after Stephen spoke out in prayer the simple phrase, “May the earth to open to receive this open heaven.” At this Zarah started freaking out, “Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!!!” Because as Stephen spoke she was having a vision of the earth opening up. She saw the ground of Winnipeg as hard and crusty, like concrete. Everywhere she put her hand, her feet, cracks opened up and the hardness was broken. The earth was being prepared for sowing as she was advancing. After she shared this Andy gave the scripture in Hosea 10:12. Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. This vision and word stuck with me through the week. I looked up this verse in my Dake reference bible and his commentary on the line, “break up your fallow ground,” shook me. It was as follows: This is also is the work of man. Each must break up the ground of his own life. Fallow ground is that which has been plowed but not sown; ground not it use; idle ground crusted over and hardened until it needs to be broken up again to receive the seed. Our hearts and wills must be broken and yielded to God. We must make ourselves willing to receive the Word of God and obey it or seeking Him will not avail us anything. Wow, SHAKA! This word developed and we shared it in detail at our Friday night bible study, virtually the same word that Trevor gave on Monday. God is up to something! By Mike Tinholt |
