The AWAKENING - January 8th, 2007 Report- ON Monday, January 8th 2007, numerous ministries and churches in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba came together for athe second gathering of the Awakening. The excitement and anticipation was high during preservice prayer. Michelle Peksa, visiting from Saskatoon, described the mood well when she exclaimed, ''there is such a heavy glory here, this is more than revival, this is what I felt in Mozambique, this is nation changing, Holy Holy Holy!" the Worship that followed was explosive as the hundreds of hungry lovers of God pressed in for an encounter. Michelle Peksa followed up with encouraging provoking testimony. She told of the power of God at work in Saskatoon. The power of love and obedience that brings a manifestation of the kingdom by healing an inner-city man in a wheelchair. Trevor followed with a powerful word, "Fourth Dimension Living: Doing That Which You See The Father Doing." People were stretched and challenged to dig deeper in God. All was brought to a climax in a time of soaking and encounter listening to ''Fly" by Jason Upton. Many were touched and the anticipation is again high for our next Awakening. Keep praying into what God is doing and keep seeking Him with all your heart soul mind and strength. ;
